Restaurant Catering
FOL is in the process of opening a full-service catering and culinary restaurant based in Jersey City and serving the Northern New Jersey region. In addition to serving as a training ground and revenue for FOL programs, it will also provide entry-level employment opportunities for culinary program graduates.

Greenhouse Project
Our Greenhouse Project will provide the opportunity to both construct and maintain a hydroponic greenhouse able to grow fresh vegetables and herbs locally. This would literally help plant the seed for success in our community and allow us to sell its products to local supermarkets, restaurants and local delis, as well as to the general public—as a farmer’s market. Fresh produce will also be used in our self-operated restaurant and catering business.

In addition to seeking local and state maintenance contracts, this business will be the provider of maintenance services to our culinary facility and Housing units provided through “Passport to Reentry” Initiative.

Operated from Spring to Fall, these services will be available for a competitive fee, offering hand car washes, waxing, and full-detailing services comparable to your local car wash.

Operated from our main office, FOL will operate a bath and body works business that teaches successful trainees how to make, package, and sell Bath/Body products and essential oils. This program is supported both as an entrepreneurial venture and as a product available for pick up or delivery (via mail service).
